Yo it's TCC here. Know I haven't been on this account in awhile. Just a lot of things in my life have been very busy that I pretty much forgotten about page till now. Just as well though, I was only able to go to one con last year, A-Kon, and unable to for the rest of 2014. So yeah sorry for that.

As of this writing, a few cons have already gone by, the latest being A-Kon, which I only able to go to for one day due to some financial trouble. I made the best of it however and was able to get some pics of the con-goers there and will be unloading them shortly.

Far as I know there are only four more cons left in Dallas before the year is up:

* Screw Attack Gaming Convention: Unfortunately for me this year they decided to move it to the far side of the metroplex, Frisco TX. It's reachable by a half hour drive but very inconvenient for me as well. I'll do what I can though.
* Animefest: Missed it last year to my regret. Higher powers willing, won't make the same mistake this year.
* Nightmare Nights: With Brony Fan Fair in Austin now kaput, this and Fiesta Equestria are the only MLP related conventions left in Texas far as I know of.  I know the fandom is starting to die down now so I at least want to go to one of these before it dries up.
* Anime North Texas: Out in Fort Worth. Might go, might not, still debating.

I kinda stalled a bit with con photos and I am so backed up on the 2013 ones. With con season right around the corner for Dallas. I figured it was to get down to business and upload them so my memory cards will be fresh and ready for the upcoming cons I plan to go to. So keep a look out for pics from my escapades in 2013!

Well con season is back on but this year is a mite shaky for me due to being let go from my job early and very small lack of funds. So yeah, no promises guys, but I will try.

* A-Kon 24: May 31 - June 2:
Really trying, I signed up to volunteer but so far no word yet. But if you see me, I'll be willing to take your pic. Remember if you're going, it's at a new location this year. So check their website so you don't wind up going to the Sheraton by mistake. Done,

* Strip: Dallas Webcomic Expo: August
No date yet but I'm hopeful since I might have a job by that point and will be able to reach down there. Heck I might even drive just so I can stay for the full show. Not expecting a lot of guests but a picture's a picture. So come on down if you can. It's not happening..ever again. They retired T_T. Hate to hear it but happens. At least I got to go to the last two. Thanks for all the fun guys.

* Animefest 2013: Aug 30 - September 2
Once again back at the Sheraton, so you know I'll be there. Probably working like before but never one to shy from photo ops. Came and went, was great. Uploading the pics now.

* Fandays: October 4-6
Seeing how I'll miss Dallas Comic Con once again, I'll make up for it with this one...if possible. We'll see. And if I do go, it'll just be a Saturdays only thing. Didn't happen, couldn't scourge up the money in time.  

* Nightmare Nights: Nov 8-10th
Hmm a MLP con. Well there was one earlier this year. But I found out about it too late to attend. So I suppose I can try to make it up with this one.

* Yulecon Anime North Texas:  Nov 15-17
Yup Yulecon is dead, and from the ashes comes a renamed con better then ever. Haha. Gotta say I'm proud of them for not giving up. I'll trying to at least go Saturday if not that and Sunday.

Sorry guys, I tried to but one thing lead into another and when it came down to it. I couldn't attend either Nightmare Nights or Anime North Texas. I hate it as I really did want to go to these two but alas...Oh well two out of six ain't bad. With that, ends the con season for 2013, the ones I went to were wonderfully fun. I hope you all have a blast at the remaining ones for the year and hopefully next year I'll be able to go to more then one. So prep your costumes and I'll catch you on the con floor ^_^. 

And thus the end of my 2012 con season.

Great costumes to everyone I encountered.  Hope to see you all again next year when the buffer resets, hopefully by then I'll have much more money so I can go to more then the cons in my state. I'm really hoping to go to MagFest at the very least, heard that con was banging. But until then, be safe and keep that fandom spirit alive!  ^_-

Alright guys, got a new camera and raring to go. So here's the low down.

* Dallas Comic Con: May 19

A "maybe". I do want to go but it's very far and I might have other business. I will try to though and if I do, its going to be Saturday only. Didn't go due to other commitments

* A-Kon: June 1 - 3

This one's surefire. All three days. Unlike last year, I won't be working staff this time. Just a usual con-goer. But I'll be on the prowl for great cos-plays regardless.

* STRIP: The Dallas Webcomic Expo: August 4

I'm trying to get a table for this one as I wanna display my art.  I doubt they'll be many cosplayers. Eh still if you got a costume I'll be happy to take your pic.

* Animefest: Aug 31 - Sept 3rd

New location this year guys. It'll be at the Sheraton Hotel, the same one AKon is hosted. I know I was surprised too after the many years at the Hyatt Hotel but just means a new experience. This one I WILL be working at  but in the dealer's room. So get your cos-plays geared up by then.

* Fan Days Oct 20

Or the second Dallas Comic Con under a different name, LOL. But yeah same location as DCC and a one day outing for me, provides I have the money and means to get there. Nah its a no go guys, something else came up that needs my finance, so I gotta sacrifice the trip. Sorry, but I hope to go next year hopefully.

* Yule-Con: TBA

Mmm this one a little tricker, its way out in Fort Worth and the last few years have been out of my reach. I may go but like Comic Con it'll be a one day affair. NVM, the people running the con have cancelled it due to financial trouble. Pity, but hey it happens.
